This tool allows for generalized data collection and management on user defined entities.  It utilizes device integration (GPS, Barcode Scanning, Camera, etc.) and user defined validation to ensure the integrity of the data.  It only works in conjunction with SDI's DataPoint Server package.  For obtaining the server package contact SDI (information is on the company website www.significantdigits.com).  The handheld software can send and receive information using an internet connection to the database on the server.  Collect GPS coordinates, pictures, radio button fields, list fields, text fields, etc and post them to the server for export into any number of software packages for infrastructure management, GIS, data mining etc.  This tool has encryption built in for sensitive data and utilizes RSA session keys with AES encryption of varying bit strengths.  Mapping integration allows for GPS related searches and visualization in the field.  We also integrate the DataPoint software with Trimble handhelds for industry leading GPS positional accuracy.  This software also has URL resource integration that allows for remote viewing of resources related to a specific data instance (ex. bring up a fire hydrant and launch the pdf of the manual corresponding to it, or the image of the purchase invoice for it).  This is a completely customizable package that can collect any information and impose any validation just let us know.  We are always happy to talk so drop us a line (again contact info can be found on company website).

You can get your Account ID (required) by following either of the steps below:
1) Login to NetSuite (Any user type)
2) Navigate to Support --> Customer Service --> Contact by Phone
3) You will see the Account ID on this page

OR

1) Login to your NetSuite implementation as an Administrator
2) Point your mouse to the 'Setup Tab', you will see a drop down menu. Navigate to 'Integration' then to 'Web Services Preferences'
3) You will find the Account Id just under the 'Save' and 'Reset' buttons

NOTE: If you encounter the error "You do not have permission to access web services feature.” Please contact your NetSuite Admin to enable web services. If you need, we can help guide you through the steps to enable this.

About the Greater San Diego Business Association

In 2006 the Greater San Diego Business Association (GSDBA) was named “Chamber of the Year” by the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). The award recognizes GSDBA’s stature as a leader in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender business movement in the United States. Founded in 1979 GSDBA continues to support small businesses in San Diego while advocating for mainstream acceptance of diversity.

Eight hundred members strong, GSDBA is one of the largest specialty chambers in San Diego County and the second largest gay, lesbian and supportive chamber in the nation. GSDBA prides itself on outreach to other business chambers and to society at large. In 2000 GSDBA was the first LGBT chamber in the nation to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the US Small Business Administration, recognizing GSDBA’s status as a minority business association. GSDBA is also a supporting member of the San Diego Hispanic Chamber’s Diverse Emerging Vendor Outreach Program (DEVO).

A founding member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), GSDBA takes an active roll in national level programs to meet the needs of small businesses. All GSDBA members are automatically members of NGLCC, having access to financial, procurement and advocacy programs. Every business listed in this Directory is not only featured on the GSDBA web site, but also on the NGLCC web site.
