Cloud Colleague for Android requires the installation of the Cloud Colleague Server for Google Apps within your Google Apps for business domain.
Cloud Colleague for Android is the first Google Apps Directory query tool for the Google Android devices.
Using Cloud Colleague for Android users will have direct access to their corporate Google Apps directory from anywhere in the world.
The Cloud Colleague Android Application allows you to:-
* List Contacts from the Google Apps domain profiles and shared contacts.
* Search for users within the entire Google Apps domain.
* View contact information such as phone, photo etc.
* Ability to call, or text the user directly from the interface.

[2011-08-08] A Google User: I couldn't get the app to work at all... I couldn't get the app to work at all. I installed the Cloud Colleague Server on my domain, which is, in fact, business version. I clicked on the link to sign in on the server, but it took me to a blank page, no content whatsoever. I guess that's not what was supposed to happen, but that's all I got. Whatever name I tried to search using the app, I always got a message saying saying "Unknown email domain, unable to search. Have you setup Cloud Colleague Server?" :( |

[2011-04-08] A Google User: Why is it asking for email id and password Major security exposure -- after installation the app asks for the google apps id and password. This information provides access to corporate data. The app should instead use the google APIs authentication. Sorry, I'm uninstalling it. |
