吾翻閱中國二十四史,發現無論是正人君子,還是好佞小人,都把“拍馬屈”作爲官場、情場、商場攻無不克的“利器”,卻又用而不言，秘而不宣。吾深感此中奧妙無窮，不敢怠慢，故潛心閱讀經史子集，深研窮究，不敢怠慢，偶有所得，必當記錄。久而久之，竟成一冊，是爲《馬屁經》。
　　大千世界，魚龍混雜，陷井重重，危機四伏。面對這炎涼世態，如想遊刃有余，不學一點拍馬之術，那真是困難之極！
　　很多人成天唱高調、說絕不拍別人的馬屁。事實上，這是對自己平庸和無能的掩蓋，這種人是無法出人頭地的。
　　討厭別人對自己拍馬屁的人是少之又少。即使有，也只是一種掩飾。叱咤風雲一世的拿破侖，非常討厭別人拍他的馬屁。有一次，隨從對他說：“將軍！您是最討厭別人對您拍馬屁的吧！”拿破侖笑著說：“是的，一點也不錯！”
　　事實上，這不就是那位隨從的一記“拍馬屁”嗎？
　　拍馬，是一門藝術，是人際關系至高無上的“潤滑劑”。
　　人們都知道騎馬前還需要先拍拍馬的屁股，這樣馬才會溫順地讓你騎上去，何況在競爭如此激烈的人生之途！不會此種招法又怎能做到事隨人願呢？在現實生活中，我們反對拍馬，批判拍馬。同時，一時一刻也離不開拍馬，處處都在運用拍馬。不懂得拍馬技巧，便不懂得成功的決竅。
　　大凡懂得一點拍馬之術的人士，多數僅會一些恭維、獻媚之小技，事實上這些都還粗淺的很。拍馬屁是極講究手法和拍法的。拍得太露不行，拍得不是場合不行；拍輕了，太癢；拍重了，太疼。如果能做到在元聲無息、不露痕迹，讓人暈暈糊糊、得意忘形，那才是拍馬屁的至高境界。
　　縱觀古今中外，有多少志士在人際關系上栽了跟頭，懷才不遇，抑郁而終；有多少有才之人踏入社會就無所適從，得不到賞識。悲劇的根源，不是拒絕“拍馬屁”這門藝術，就是悟不透“拍馬”二字。

判胡文海死刑後，退庭時，胡逮著一個審過他的幹警就握手，邊握邊說："先走一步，先走一步。"那麽些警察，躲也躲不及他，實是滑稽。
本書還包含了另外一個悲情的殺人惡魔，馬嘉爵，他已經走遠了，他真的走遠了嗎?
