Much better, thank you! Following the current update this app now works fine. It allows you to view hundreds of different fungi by all sorts of handy criteria. The only downer on this otherwise superb app is that the text size is smaller than I'd like, even on my great big Galaxy Note. If there's a way to increase the text size, I haven't found it yet. But, this being said, I am now very pleased with this app and would recommend it to anyone interested in mycology.

Working It finally works on S2. And it looks pretty good - handy for helping to confirm id and names in the field. Higher res images would be good. Recommended.

Room for improvement Low res, poor quality images are of little use. I know hires pics take up more download size but there are many apps with much larger download size. The search menu doesnt seem to include all the mushrooms. The layout of descriptions looks like no thought has gone into them with just free flowing text and no separation of the identification info. Breaking the text up with headings would be easier on the eyes.

Ok Had to download manually the database to make it work.

Horrible Extremely disappointed with the app (which does not work) and with the developers (which ignore emails). The app starts fine on Nexus S ICS, but the database download (part of the initial setup) always fails. Therefore the app is completely useless. I emailed the developer about it and never got an answer. BTW downloading the database separately from the link provided in the app description also does not fix the issue as this requires you to first be able to complete the installation of the app.

The paid version of this app only shows 6 of them, the free version only shows 3 of them. I would have uninstalled and gotten a refund but it was over the 15 minute limit. I will change my rating if more species are added.
