Carnivorous plants are plants that derive some or most of their nutrients (but not energy) from trapping and consuming animals or protozoans, typically insects and other arthropods. Carnivorous plants appear adapted to grow in places where the soil is thin or poor in nutrients, especially nitrogen, such as acidic bogs and rock outcroppings. Charles Darwin wrote Insectivorous Plants, the first well-known treatise on carnivorous plants, in 1875.

True carnivory is thought to have evolved independently six times in five different orders of flowering plants, and these are now represented by more than a dozen genera. These include about 630 species that attract and trap prey, produce digestive enzymes, and absorb the resulting available nutrients. Additionally, over 300 protocarnivorous plant species in several genera show some but not all these characteristics.

Search an article on Wikipedia France directly from the Quick Search Box (Google search widget).
Tapping on a suggestion sends you to the article on Wikipedia's French mobile website.

You have to enable this app first: tap the widget, then Menu > Search settings > Searchable items and check Wikipedia France QSB.

After that, you can also create a widget that search Wikipedia France by default: (on the Home screen) Add to Home screen > Widgets > Google Search > Wikipedia France QSB.

Internet permission is for collecting search suggestions from Wikipedia.
