Offline Wikipedia. Only English database optimized for speed and memory is available for now. After installing this app you are required to download the Wikipedia database by following the link at https://sites.google.com/site/pathfindertechs on a Computer(Important). Then transfer the database file on to SD CARD of your android device. Entire Wikipedia database is packed in under 470 MB file. You can try the application by downloading a small database which has articles starting from "an". Database contains complete text component of the Wikipedia result except the images and references. Application requires no internet or network connectivity

[2012-03-09] rockyabq: Horrible On my Samsung Charge: EXTREMELY disappointing. EVERY search takes about 20 seconds each. If a space at the end of the word is accidentally included in the search (which my Android keyboard adds by default), few, if any, results appear. For example "George Washington " yields only Mr. Carver, and not the president at all. No links are active within an article. There are no paragraph breaks within an article (other than at major headings). Captions for non-existent images are included in-line with the text. No results for "atheism". No results for "rainbow" (except a video game, "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six", and "rainbow flag"). No results for "solar glory" (an atmospheric phenomenon). No results for "Flip Wilson". No results for "Danny Glover". No results for "anteater". Since it's impossible to evaluate the app within 15 minutes because you have to also download and install the large database, the time for a "no-questions-asked" refund had expired. I requested a refund but never heard a word from the developer. |

[2011-05-08] Shannon: Mainly good, very occasional errors in articles/article titles. A "skip to" menu would help for navigating to different sections of large articles. |
