[2012-03-23] IDj: Praise the lord! This is an awesome and complete Bible Tool Package! God Bless the developers and Organization! |
[2012-03-22] GSPDX: This service has transformed and equipped my ministry in Portland OR. Only one warning; with so much information, beware knowledge without love! |
[2012-03-12] bumble: Great Now, if only I could quote and tweet what I read... |
[2012-03-09] Rob: Awesome app! Highly recommended! One of the best free apps I downloaded in a while! Love the Bibles, dictionaries, concordances, teachings, etc it came with. My only wish for it is that I could share verses to twitter and facebook. |
[2012-03-03] Ernie: Trashware Though it says free, unless you buy something it becomes impossible to sign in. So much for "ministry-oriented". |
[2012-02-29] Joe: Awesome I love Logos |
[2012-02-29] Iain: Great app If you own the actual software it's quite handy to have the app, your entire collection fits in your pocket! |
[2012-02-27] Kia: Thank you Love my daily devotional! |
[2012-02-22] margaret: This is great. Apart frm the fact that it took a whole lot of space of my phone mem, it is simple the best on my galaxy s. |
[2012-02-20] Mark: Very good app, the best! |
[2012-02-17] Grant: Awesome Sweet |
[2012-02-17] katieblutheran: Not a true logos app The free books you get access to can't be synced to your computer, making them far less useful. It will be nice to have the Greek on my phone, but due to screen size I won't be able to do the in depth work from my phone I was hoping to. Also, to get the free books from their website, you have to give your credit card info, which I'm not entirely comfortable with. |
[2012-02-16] S: Requests online registration. Very slow and difficult navigation, behaves like cloudware. Uninstalled. |
[2012-02-16] Luke: highlight and notes cannot wait to have highlight function. Other than that, GREAT!!! |
[2012-02-11] Russell: Offline and notes Great software!! One of the best! Only needs offline, highlights, and notes. Very promising app and UI is intuitive. |
[2012-02-11] MC: Lots of Features for Free But... What you get for this free app is excellent. Protestants will like all the free resources and Bibles. Catholics will have to pay, however, for Bible translations and other resources that are more in line with Church teaching. |
[2012-02-10] sam: THANK YOU SO MUCH... Finally a Bible app that all can be proud of. Changed my rating from 1 star to 5! Way to go Logos:) |
[2012-02-06] Matt: Great Bible resource tool. Praise the Lord for this great study tool and guide. |
[2012-02-04] the 2/4/2012 : Excellent work in progress! Not quite as good as the iPhone or windows apps but its getting there! |
[2012-02-01] Michael: The Best Works awesome and it syncs with laptop |
[2012-02-01] Seanus Maximus: Love you guys & wishlist Love you guys! Three things on my wishlist though: 1. Highlighting 2. Reading plans 3. Prayer schedules When you guys bring that, THEN this will be a 5 star app. Keep up the good work! |
[2012-01-31] USMC7312: The Only Library Needed This is beyond doubt the best theological tool on Android. My only wish is for high lighting and notes |
[2012-01-31] Will and Amy Hatfield: Awesome app With the split screen it goes to a whole new level. |
[2012-01-31] Naveen: Its Ridiculously Awesome If you do not have this app you don't know what you are missing. Even The free app is great. |
[2012-01-31] Tim: The best in Bible software I have several different Bible programs on my PC, but none come close to Logos. To have my library available on Android just makes it that much better. |
[2012-01-30] Joshua: Finally on Android, yet disappointed I used to use Logos all the time way back when on my computer. I lost the software during a transition from computers and never got it reinstalled, partly because I'd exhausted the free library items that appealed to me at the time. Fast forward to now and wanting it on my Fascinate and Galaxy Tab. Good news is it's here and I know I'm behind the times on finding it, lol. Bad news is I tried purchasing the free Abridged BDB Lexicon and I can't access it on my Fascinate or Tab. The purchase was apparently successful, but when I click "start reading," it takes me back to the order page. The only info I can find on their site refers to iDevices only and just says "sign in and start reading!" Edited review: after waiting a bit, the book showed up. The same thing happened with the free book of the month; after purchasing it, I couldn't access it till at least 15 minutes later. So. 4 stars now, because I was able to get the books without having to contact support. If the checkout process had explained the need to wait or if there *was* no need to wait, it could possibly be a 5 star review. |
[2012-01-29] XiaoMu: Justifies owning an android tablet What a joy to have my library with me all day here in Beijing. Thank you Logos team |
[2012-01-28] Dennis: The best I love the fact that I can take most of must books with me. |
[2012-01-25] Vicky: Great Love this app. Now I did have to uninstall and reinstall to get my books back after the update, looking forward to an even better app in the future. |
[2012-01-21] Paul: No books With the last up date I lost all my books. What's up with that!?!? |
[2012-01-20] Charles: Great app Looking forward to new features. It's awesome to read your logos books on your phone or tablet when you want. |
[2012-01-19] Aaron: It's the best Bible study resource I've ever seen! Especially if you own an account with LOGOS and can sync with your whole library in full! |
[2012-01-12] Kenneth: Reading Plans Logos is an incredible app. However, reading plans desperately need to be synced to Android devices. Once that happens I will rerate to five stars. |
[2012-01-12] Stephen: Good resource but hard to use. Add notes, highlighting, plan syncing, offline. Just go look at youversion...so much easier. But I like your content and study helps. |
[2012-01-10] Stanley: Also Also need to be able to select default bible to open rather than always open to ESV. Would be good to have my Warren Wiersbe books available in the app. No complaints! This app has come long way in beta. |
[2012-01-03] Jim: Jtn Nice start, but needs to sync daily reading plan |
[2011-12-26] Bart: Good app Great for easy access to your library. I would rate higher with ability to copy verses. |
[2011-12-22] Randall : Solid Solid Bible app, but still needs some work. Difficult to use the navigator to go to specific text. Need access to the Greek word numbers in the interlinear. Other Greek/English interlinearps would be helpful. Aside from the Greek geek stuff, Logos App is a solid companion to the PC version. |
[2011-12-14] Ward: Awesome for Logos customers Logos makes the top tier Bible study/library software for PC, Mac, and now mobile! |
[2011-12-11] David: David Good app. Would give it 5 if it showed my reading plans. |
[2011-12-10] Will: Permissions The app itself is OK. IMHO Cadre Bible is much better so far, but the work LOGOS doing is just amazing. The BIG plus is you can use most of your Logos PC library. Absolutely no need to share my location or contacts. If PROCLAIM needs access to contacts, build this access into PROCLAIM! |
[2011-12-05] Andrew Sterling: Good start but not finished The reading plans are the most important feature to me. They are a very nice feature of the iPad app. Also I don't understand Proclaim's inclusion. |
[2011-12-05] David: Access my contacts? please fix this oversite |
[2011-12-04] Tyler: Great... But still needs a few features I love the app. I'd just love it more if we had the ability to view reading plans from it as well as take notes. |
[2011-12-03] dustybutts: Awesome! All my Logos book, finally in an Android app. Only a few beta wrinkles keep it from 5 stars. On Droid 2. |
[2011-12-03] the 12/3/2011 Bad permissions. Love LOGOS, but won't be updating til potential security risks in permissions change back. Agree, let Proclaim stand on its own. This is bad for LOGOS |
[2011-12-02] Kurt: No Reading Lists? I need access to my reading lists. The permissions in the new version are ridiculous! Need to be changed. |
[2011-12-02] Scott: good start like others I have issues with logos acceess. missing note taking features of the desktop ver. graph/charts/maps do not show in resources. |
[2011-12-01] judoman: They're watching you Logos has altered the permissions in the latest app version (Nov.11). The new permissions allow them to physically track your location within a few feet in real time using the GPS capability of your phone. Wait, there's more. They can read and WRITE your personal information on your phone. Don't take my word for it--click the Permissions tab and check for yourself. What are they thinking?? Not about us. Or maybe, all about us. It's ironic that Bible software is more in line with Big Brother than God |
[2011-11-29] Glenn: Contact info explained... Will consider installing if I can disable this unwanted potential risk, and if the preferred bible feature ever gets fixed. Otherwise, Libronix 3... |
[2011-11-28] debvlad: Unreasonably requires access to contacts. Potentially a security issue. If PROCLAIM needs access to contacts, build this access into PROCLAIM! There are other BIBLE programs available that are just about the Bible! |
[2011-11-27] Joseph: New permissions Great app, till now. Sad that Logos now added new permissions. May switch back to you version |
[2011-11-27] James: ESV Bug Since the new update the ESV shows random letters when you touch a cross reference and then open the link to read the passage. Thanks again logos! |
[2011-11-27] Alan: Permissions The new permissions are to support the Proclaim signals. Location is needed to find nearby presentations and contact info to ads contact from signal. |
[2011-11-27] David: Permissions No need for this to access my contacts or location. Won't be updating to a new version until removed. |
[2011-11-26] Rick : Amazing APP |
[2011-11-26] Melvin: Broken scripture links This build has broken my Scripture links. All Scripture links now produce unreadable text. Is there a way to return to the prior build? |
[2011-11-25] Daniel: Surprising permission changes Access to contacts? What on earth for? Uninstalled. |
[2011-11-25] David: Whats up with the perm changes? Not updating until you remove requirement to read and write contact info and find my location. Like the fact that you added search. not using until. |
[2011-11-25] amilner: When it eventually allows annotation it will get 5 stars |
[2011-11-25] Jerome: Would be an easy 5 star, but doesn't have basics (bookmark, note, or highlight) if it weren't for the rest of the app's excellence I would not use. |
[2011-11-25] Phillips: Wonderful tool to make a wise living To God be the glory the possessor of heavens and the earth. He rules in the affair of His creatures. This apps is the best to be a victor |
[2011-11-25] Carl: Why request contact info I won't update until the request for contact info is removed. Why, Logo The program is fine but this is questionable. |
[2011-11-25] David: Access Please correct this quickly. It's a shame they would be that sloppy. Like the new mobile app, generating interest in desktop version again. |
[2011-11-25] Jeff: Unfortunate Why the permissions? Why can't I see my Bible reading plan, prayer requests? Why is it so sluggish on my Bionic? Why is it so cumbersome to navigate? |
[2011-11-24] koekoek: Willem Just excellent. Being using it on the PC for more than 15 years |
[2011-11-24] Fred: Fine location? Why do you ask for fine location now? And contact info?? |
[2011-11-24] Zelos: Permissions Really likes this until, they requested permissions to read and write contact information. Why in world does a Bible app need to see my contacts? |
[2011-11-24] David: Permissions What's with the permission changes? |
[2011-11-24] Gheorghe: Unpleasant surprise Access to location? Access to contact information? What for? The app was on the right track until this came out of the blue. Remove this and you get 4 stars (5 when offline basic search, highlighting and split screen are implemented). |
[2011-11-24] Chad: CRC Good App... continue to improve and add more features. |
[2011-11-23] mjpeterson37: Great App - Need Prayer List I want to add my sincere request for the Prayer List function from the desktop version. |
[2011-11-21] Kerwin: It's a good start It's nice to have access to my library but this still needs some work, like changing translations doesn't keep me in the same passage of scripture |
[2011-11-19] LT: Good and getting better |
[2011-11-16] Wade: Wish there was a way to toggle your library to only show books that you have downloaded. |
[2011-11-15] jeff: Logos please put books and program on disk so we load it on to our sd card. This isa pain having redownload books when we get a new phone or sd crash |
[2011-11-14] Jae: Very good for study the Bible I really love this application. I can study the Bible anytime and anywhere on my Logos. |
[2011-11-13] Ross: Great software I've had it for years on PC's. Now I can use my stuff n my tablets. Thx |
[2011-11-13] Jason: Love having my library in my hands! However, my passage guide does not sync with what verse I am on. I have to select what verse I am studying to get the commentary I want. |
[2011-11-10] David: Please make a better search option Would like to see an option for content search where u can locate material within your library rather than just searching the title of a book |
[2011-11-05] Richard: Great Works good. Keep up the good work. |
[2011-11-04] Duke: Been waiting for this! Thank you!!!!!!! |
[2011-10-30] Noel: No good Downloaded for the proclaim notifications, which don't work. Slow program, can't cache bible translations. Youversion is much better. |
[2011-10-30] the 10/31/2011 Looking forward to finished app Great job on putting this extensive Bible library and study tools on Android. 5 stars means I know this will be top notch as is Logos 4 for the PC. |
[2011-10-29] SirBruisedalott: Awesome on Android- HTC Panache Compared to my full version on my notebook ( 2.5 ghz Dual core 3 gig ram) This is much quicker. Not bogged down with all the resources and features |
[2011-10-28] Glen: Absolutely GREAT! |
[2011-10-28] Evan: Takes too long to open. HTC Desire |
[2011-10-25] the 10/26/2011 Mr I love this app. |
[2011-10-24] Stellarr: Log in invalid, no real access without agreeing to email spam. No thank you. Uninstalling-btw Takes too long to load Bibles |
[2011-10-24] Chad: Keeps getting better. Significant strides with each update. If you have any investment in desktop Logos, nothing else can completely replace out. Great reader too. |
[2011-10-24] scottatjoy: Can't see the Proclaim references on my android. |
[2011-10-24] Ryan: Nothing else like it! This is a wonderful app. The ability to download resources from my Logos library for anytime study is invaluable. |
[2011-10-24] Rob: Solid |
[2011-10-24] wolfjax: Having lots of trouble switching between bible translations. Also lacking many features the iPhone app has. Would highly recommend Logos for pc |
[2011-10-24] Orrin: Love it Could be more user friendly |
