[2013-06-12] A Google User: Reasonable Fairly well designed and presented, but not outstanding. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Need to be online to read it. Nice book. Even the american voice is bearable. But if you are not online.... up pops the licence verifier and the app closes. Nice one |
[2013-03-25] A Google User: great book for kids 3 year loves it need more now |
[2013-02-26] A Google User: Permission fixed Now this, as all other OMBooks, is worth buying. |

[2012-10-28] A Google User: Phone identity and state permissions removed Thank you for removing the unnecessary and unwanted permissions. |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Back to normal It's once again a great book for children. Privacy-invading permission has been removed. Developer never replied to complaints, but it's good to finally see action on this. |
[2012-09-21] A Google User: JT My son loves this book. Also root ur devices people download LBE ;-) |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: I think it's great that the words my sons point at will now highlight & be read aloud. But I'm puzzled why they need to READ PHONE STATE & IDENTITY. THEY CAN DETERMINE a phone # & serial#, whether a call's active, the # connected to this phone and the like. The question is WHY? Orwell'$ 1984 is upon us & we pay for big brother. Another sellout Ad Push scheme on a PAID app no less. Android does NOT allow opting out of PUSH Messages in our phone's private display banner. iOS ALLOWS their customers to OPT OUT WITHOUT PENALTY of having to uninstall the PAID APP. We already paid hundreds for smart devices that cost us thousands in yearly fees. Why are socialistic ideals hiding beneath children's read along books? We love our kids...so obey! |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: Great One of the best apps on books yet |
[2012-08-05] A Google User: permissions Why do you need to read my phone details? |
[2012-07-08] A Google User: Inexplicable permissions Why on earth does a story book need access to my phone state and identity? Unacceptable. |
[2012-06-30] A Google User: added new permissions required in an update I don't appreciate applications that I have purchased requiring more permissions. leaving rating at 1 star until this is resolved. |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Too short Son loves it but very short for the price. |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Phone State and Identity??? Really? Why is this not mentioned in the update info? This seems like data mining to me, I'll pass.. Not a bad book, but this is shady. |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Great for my boys. |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Permission change Why the permission change? |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: New Permission The "What's New" is very misleading considering they ask for a new permission. Wonder what else is a secret? |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Not bad However, I must wonder why this suddenly needs access to phone state and identity. |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Too short Too short, and less engaging than most books our kids have got. Multimedia potential not used. |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Permission change Please explain the new permissions change. |
[2012-06-18] A Google User: Update wants Phone ID??? Love this book, shame I'm not updating since the update wants my phone number and id. Not sure what a kids book needs that for... May have to rethink the 6 books I bought so far... |
[2012-06-14] A Google User: Kid favorite My son loves it!! |
[2012-04-30] A Google User: Great Great app son loves it though would be great if you could modify to stop the phone from sleeping |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: Kids enjoy it. Good for boys. |
[2012-03-28] A Google User: Excellent Excellent |
[2012-03-18] A Google User: Great |
[2012-03-17] A Google User: Adventure |
[2012-03-12] A Google User: Too short. The only reason why I gave it two stars not one is because it was only 49 cents, but seriously not worth more then toys due to it's length. |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Just right A little shorter than I expected, but I guess it's just the right length for my sons age so it's great for him. Especially sine he loves dinos! Thanks |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Bad narration and lacks extras The narrator mispronounces a few of the dinosaur names, and even pronounces tyrannosaurus three different ways. Also, other Oceanhouse books have a lot of things to click on on each page, there's almost nothing in this book, and when there is it's just the narrator repeating the dinosaur name. I'd have given this three stars, but compared to other Oceanhouse books, it gets knocked down another star. Very disappointing... |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Great! Kids love it! |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Great book! What's everyone complaining about?! The story isn't short..in fact it's a little longer than some others I've gotten. if the story was longer, the file size would have to be bigger then yall would complain bout that! Good story, my 3 yr old son likes it n works great on epic touch. |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Great! My 15 month-old loves it and I can see how it will last as he gets older. Great for kids learning to read too. Got it at a good price too. No complaints. |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Very nice Thumbs up |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Very Short story. Well I didn't expect this story to be so short. Story is still good. 5 stars if Dev updates with more stories. Other buyers also expressed the same opinion. Developer needs to update this app asap to keep his precious "average rating" from falling. |
[2012-03-08] A Google User: Short but still good far too short but for 49 cents its worth it. |
[2012-03-08] A Google User: Very short story, few images, disappointed Very short story, few images, good activity for 10 minutes... My daughter likes the dinosaurs but she is disappointed with this app. I just hate to buy an app to uninstall it next day... Open a webpage in the browser instead. I admit that the narration and the text highlighting has some use for English learning, but they put too small effort into the story. |
[2012-03-07] A Google User: My son loves Dinosaurs My son loves Dinosaurs and he loves this book too! |
[2012-03-06] A Google User: Dinosaur's rule! I love dinosaurs especially stegosaurus and t rex and utahraptor and compsagnathus and toujangosaurus and diplodocus and iguanodon and the loch ness monster. I don't like triceratops though so only 4 stars. |
[2011-12-20] A Google User: Nice app Kids love it |
