Change 'show more' button When I opened the thread, I found that 'show more' button is quite annoying. Better than that, please replace it with pages so I can jump to the pages I want or jump to the end comment on the thread

Nice, but still needs polish Agree with other reviewer, the recommendations are painful to scroll through in portrait mode...why can't we just have a normal vertical list...My fingers are aching after flicking through them in its current state!

Updates It doesn't work properly. Everytime I update something via the app then it s not updated in the website and I have to do it again there as if I hadn't done it in the app.

* On discussion threads in groups, I wish I am able to: edit/delete my comment, view spoiler tags, and see the book covers (and also post covers) posted by users on the next update! Also I hope I can see my profile comments and go to other people's profiles to post one. Reply options should be added top, as well as the questions users require when you send them friend requests. The barcode isn't working as well.

Very good app. Goodreads is an excellent tool for keeping track of what I've read and want to read. With the app, I can now do that in a paperless fashion and have my reading lists available to me on my phone when I visit the library or bookstore. My only complaint / suggestion is that the app should recognize "custom shelves" so that I can view them on my mobile device.

Laggy horizontal scrolling Overall a good app but the horizontal scrolling lags when you select your favorite's. It could be smoother!

Can't even do proper sync I sign up with Facebook but the app unable to do it. When I sign up by e-mail, there's an option to sync again. When I try to sync again, it also can connect. WTF?

Hard to navigate I saw comments stating they couldn't find certain things and found these commenter's are right. This app is ridiculously hard to search. Where is the likes and what not? Tried joining a group and couldn't do that either.

Can't add books I can search books, but not add then to my shelves. Barcode scanner doesn't work. Worthless app. Uninstalling.

Barcode scanner DOES work It does work but a little tricky. Make sure that there is enough light and move the camera to get it into focus. Once its focused move the camera back a few centimeters and it'll scan. Bookstore barcodes work 90% of the time but the actual one always does. I'd like it better if it worked like google goggles. You take a picture with the standard camera then it analyses it but this DOES work and is pretty darn useful when you want to keep track of a shelves of books

Great app! Easy to use and gives me the basics i was looking for: listing my reads and rating them. I always listen to books on audio as I'm too busy to sit down and actually read (i own a knitting business that i do in my free time), so seeing a rating for audiobook narrator would be awesome!

Useful but slow I love the convenience of being able to update my shelves and look up books on the go, but the app itself runs a little slow.

Not bad If it had more options, it would be amazing to navigate through new books. One thing I really liked was the display for the recommendations. It's very nice looking and probably that's why I gave four stars. The scanner doesn't work, though.

Poor, confusing interface This app is so far from user friendly I'd classify it as "user vicious." Not totally the app's fault as the website is the same way. Both website and app need to be completely redesigned.

What's up with the new format? Hard to find/enter new books What's up with the new format? I have used Goodreads for bout 3yrs, always user friendly. Easy to find new books & enter new books. I turn on my Samsung galaxy tab today & the whole format has changed! I can't figure out how to look up books that I don't already own, or how to enter new books. It says it last updated 4/2013? on my droid phone & itouch it still has regular (old) format. Please make it user friendly, I love Goodreads & would hate to have to uninstall just do to formatting issues...

Really helps to keep up with your books in an organized manner. In the recommendations area, I only wish it had a "don't read" box under the want to read box. I keep getting the same recommendations of books I don't want to read. How can you make new friends on the app?

Dumped it straight away Interface is nowhere as good as that of the Good reads website. It is difficult to navigate and only display a fraction of the functionality of the site - there is no incentive at all to use this app when the site is easier to use on a tablet anyway!

Love goodreads Big fan of gr but not crazy about the app. Not very convenient still find myself having to go to the website. Can't use html, can't get notifications, and it's very inconvenient if you are a moderator for a group. Why can't i broadcast a group message? Need to update more often. Too many restrictions.

Galaxy N8010 orientation bug! I'm using Galaxy n8010. Every time I change the orientation the app stops and it is really annoying!!!!! I was writing a book review and it didn't save anything I wrote. That is a huge bug in my opinion. Also, I can't accept an invitation from a friend or to join a club because there is no button to do that. Another improvement would be allowing me to like a review or quote on my app tablet, to add a quote.

Lovee, but... I loveee this app! It makes adding and reviewing books so much easier! Only drawback is somehow the dates are always wrong. For example, when I'm finished with a book and save the date, the date will always change to a day after no matter how many times I change the dates!!!!

This is one of my 5 favorite websites. Am always looking to see what recommendations as well as what others think of books. It helps me to keep track of what I've read, listened to and what I want to. It helps to take it w/me where ever I go. Allows a person to find out about an author or book from the site as well as readers opinions.

Average app I love Goodreads and this app is ok, I think it needs to be more like the website. One example with the app, I can't see the "Currently Reading" section in my groups so I have to go through my phone's browser to see it... so what's the point of having this app if I have to use the phones browser? I'm hopeful for some changes to this app to make it more compatible...

Nice but missing something Neat and easy. Straigth to the point. But it doesn't do much. I love reading other peoples stories on the webpage but i found i can't in app. Please add an 'explore' button to the app and I'll rate it 5 stars. Thanks.

One small suggestion I love this app, it's a great way to keep track of what I've read and loved, the only thing that could make this 5* for me is if there was some sort of calendar or notification function where I'd get notified if a new book in a series I've been reading has been released. It would save me an no doubt others a lot of faff.

Where You At Amazon?! This here is what Amazon should be more like. Easy to add your books you've read and gives far better recommendations than Amazon based off your preferences. Easy to review and rate books. Just plain easy to enjoy and use
