Known problems:

* The first time the app is launched on slower devices it might freeze/crash. There seems to be a problem when populating the database for the first time. FIX: Launch the first time, click the upgrade button and wait. If it freezes force close the app and relaunch it.

This is my first Android App.
It demonstrates how to use a WebView, an expandable list, and and a menu with buttons, together with a graphics viewer.
The result is an application which easily lets the user explore a dictionary imported from a tab-separated file, in our case: Our project terminology, with corresponding graphic figures. All the terms are automatically hyper-linked on the fly.
For all people working on Ubiquitous Service Composition For All people.

Deze digitale gids 'Zoetwatervissen van Nederland' maakt deel uit van een serie mobiele informatiesystemen voor het herkennen van soorten in de natuur. Ze zijn ontwikkeld in het kader van het EU KeyToNature project dat beoogt flora- en fauna-informatie snel en makkelijk toegankelijk te maken.

Deze e-guide bevat:
- Een interactieve determinatiesleutel
- Een alfabetische soortenlijst
- Foto's en/of tekeningen van 41 inheemse soorten, plus 30 geïntroduceerde soorten.
- Gegevens over uiterlijk, gelijkende soorten, verspreiding, leefwijze, voortplanting en wetgeving.

Deze applicatie is een voor dit medium aangepaste heruitgave van de sectie Zoetwatervissen op www.soortenbank.nl. Behalve 'Zoetwatervissen van Nederland' zijn er e-guides voor andere diergroepen (vogels, reptielen, amfibieën, vlinders). Er is ook een e-flora. Meer titels zijn in voorbereiding.
