【BCCKS(ブックス)とは?】
BCCKS(ブックス)は、誰でもカンタンに本をつくり、公開できるサービスです。
一般からプロの方まで、さまざまな本が日々アップされています。
BCCKSでつくられた本が、PC、iPad、 iPhone、Andoroidなどのさまざまなデバイスで公開・閲覧できるようになります。
今後も、より快適な読書体験を提供できるよう、様々なアップデートを 行っていきます。

<本の読み方>
ページ数は画面右下にパーセンテージで表示しています。
※本を開いたり文字サイズを変更すると、本全体の表示計算を行います。計算中はパーセンテージがオレンジ色になります

bccks reader の操作方法は以下の通りです。
次のページへ:本の左端をタップ、もしくは左から右にスワイプ。
前のページへ:本の右端をタップ、もしくは右から左にスワイプ。
メニューを表示:本の中央をタップ。
アプリメニュー:Androidデバイスのメニューボタンを押す。
ページスライダーの操作:本の下端をタップしてスライダーを表示。サムネイルを左右にスライドしてページめくり。
1つ前に表示していたページに戻る:本の中央部分をダブルタップ
本文内のリンク:本文内で文字色がオレンジになっている所は、内部リンク、もしくは外部リンクになっています。内部リンクの場合、著者が設定した本の中の該当の箇所へジャンプします。外部リンクの場合は、※[リンクを開く]を押すとWebブラウザが起動します。

メニューから文字の濃さや大きさ、紙の白さも調整できます。

<すべての本>
ネットワークに接続し、[すべての本]メニューより、BCCKSのサイト上にある、すべての本をダウンロードして閲覧することができます。
本をダウンロードするには、BCCKSへの会員登録(無料)が必要になります。

<書斎>
会員登録していただくことで、あなたの書斎を管理することができます。
書斎には、一棹の本棚と、「最近読んだ本」「蔵書リスト」表示があり、蔵書を所蔵することができます。

BCCKSのサイトから本会員登録(メールアドレス認証が必要)をおこなうと、サイト上で無料で本をつくることができます。

Anne of Green Gables is a bestselling novel by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery published in 1908. Set in 1878, it was written as fiction for readers of all ages, but in recent decades has been considered a children's book. Montgomery found her inspiration for the book on an old piece of paper that she had written at a young age, describing a couple that were mistakenly sent an orphan girl instead of a boy, yet decided to keep her. Montgomery also drew upon her own childhood experiences in rural Prince Edward Island. Montgomery used a photograph of Evelyn Nesbit, which she had clipped from New York’s Metropolitan Magazine, and pasted the framed clipping on the wall of her bedroom, as the model for the face of Anne Shirley, the book's main character.

The Time Machine is a science fiction novella by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 for the first time and later adapted into at least two feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media. This 32,000 word story is generally credited with the popularisation of the concept of time travel using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposefully and selectively. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now universally used to refer to such a vehicle. This work is an early example of the Dying Earth subgenre.

The War of the Worlds (1898) is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells. It describes the experiences of an unnamed narrator who travels through the suburbs of London as England is invaded by Martians. It is one of the earliest stories that details a conflict between mankind and an alien race.

The War of the Worlds is split into two parts, Book one: The Coming of the Martians, and Book two: The Earth under the Martians. The novel is narrated by a writer of philosophical articles who throughout the narrative struggles to reunite with his wife, while witnessing the Martians rampaging through the southern English counties. Part one also features the tale of his brother, who accompanies two women to the coast in the hope of escaping England as it is invaded.

The plot has been related to invasion literature of the time. The novel has been variously interpreted as a commentary on evolutionary theory, British imperialism, and generally Victorian fears and prejudices. At the time of publication it was classified as a scientific romance, like his earlier novel The Time Machine. Since then, it has influenced much literature and other media, spawning half a dozen feature films, radio dramas, various comic book adaptations, a television series, and sequels or parallel stories by other authors. It also influenced the real-life work of scientists, notably the rocket scientist Robert H. Goddard.
