*** This is NO Dog and Pony Show - It's the Real Deal! *** Dear Reader,
Can you remember? It may have happened at a county fair or a special trip to a park. You can still remember the smells of popcorn and cotton candy all wrapped around the smell of fresh hay and sweat.
Maybe you were four or five years old. You can still remember the thrill as your Dad lifted you up and settled you into the saddle. It was probably a small pony but to you it felt like you were astride a dashing stallion.
When the guy in charge swatted the rear of the lead pony and they all started plodding around their little circle you felt like you were galloping across a meadow with the wind in your face.
You were a cowboy (or cowgirl), or maybe a knight in shining armor, or a damsel in distress. Your imagination took you away and for just a few minutes you really were the hero or heroine of your own fairy tale.
All too soon, the ponies stopped and here comes your Dad to help you down. It was the best experience of your short life and for weeks and months you begged your parents for a horse.
Never mind that you lived in a condominium in the middle of urban sprawl. When you are a child such minor details are irrelevant. You probably told your parents you'd take care of it and it could stay in your room.
For most of us reality eventually kicks in and thoughts of owning a horse are pushed into the further most back of our minds. But. . . .the dream never really dies, does it?
Fast forward a few decades and you find yourself in a position to turn your fantasy into reality! You are going to have your first horse. Of course, it's for the kids, right? Yeah right!
No matter, the dream is coming true and if you are the lucky one it's time to get down to brass tacks. Or at least saddle soap and horseshoes.
Owning your first horse is a tremendous undertaking and you have much to learn. It's doable but the learning curve can be pretty steep, especially when you pick up a few books on the subject.
You can get bogged down in all the technical jargon very quickly. There has to be an easier way. . .please. Well, yes there is. How about a simple handbook written in plain English?
No joke. You can visit Barnes and Noble or the public library and quickly walk out with a stack of 1000 page books five feet tall. It would take you months to get the information you need.
Or. . .you can download your copy of "The New Horse Rider's Guide" and get your questions answered quickly.
and some of the best parts are . . .
• It isn't written by a horse trainer, just an ordinary guy making it easy to read. • It doesn’t take hours of reading to get an answer to a simple question. • It doesn't cost a fortune!
Everything is there to help you understand what the author knows about and apply the information to your situation. Take a look at what you'll find:
Learn how to mount, dismount and ride. Find out when to call the veterinarian. Discover what a farrier is and why you need one.. Feeding your horse. We truly hope you see the potential here, and realize how important this offer is! Please enojoy the preview and upgrade to full version if you like it.
