Daily Readings Lite has several new updates in addition to all the great features from previous versions. It's still the easiest way to access the day's Scripture readings prescribed by the Lectionary of the Greek Orthodox Church. Daily Readings Lite also lets you read the lives of the saints or look-up fasting guidelines right on your Android device. This app follows the typikon and lectionary of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Developed by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Department of Internet Ministries, there is no better way to carry the Church's prescribed Scripture and devotional readings with you at all times.

[2012-06-14] Fr Raphael: not so hot for my transformer I used this app daily until June 14th on my docked Transformer tablet- all of a sudden it's no longer available in landscape - I often use my tablet like a netbook and unless I turn tablet and docked keyboard on it's side - I can no longer use this app. VERY disappointing - especially since I raved about the app at a retreat I led in Edmonton this past weekend. - Fr Raphael Johnston |
