Cell Division is an application written by a former A-level (UK) Lecturer of Biology. It is an aid for students of biology learning or revising the topics of mitosis and meiosis. The application contains images of cell division as well as questions to test your knowledge and a glossary of terms for both mitosis and meiosis. This application contains 3D images designed to give the clearest possible picture of the events of cell division, each image being accompanied by a detailed explanation of what is happening at that stage. This application does not need an internet connection in order to function and so can be used to learn and revise this subject anywhere.

[2011-10-24] A Google User: A really useful resource. A great update!! This app has been so useful in my studies. The information is spot on, the pictures are great, the glossary comes in handy to - I love the clickable links. The update is really great - the animations show the details of each stage with out clutter. The new menu options have allowed me to share the app, as well as send feedback to the developer. |
