merely OK How can an app call itself "BibleS for America" when it's really 1 bible version and lots of Witness Lee teachings? I'm not a fan of including every version ever (The Message is simply a gross simplification that ignores any and all nuances of the original words. What'll they think of next, a chatspeak bible?), but at least have a KJV in there, good grief. That said, I do not believe that Witness Lee was a heretic but a mere man who makes mistakes of the pedantic variety...

My 'go everywhere Bible' This has been such a revelation. The Word of God has been truly opened up to me. I have now also installed the full Recovery version (with Isilo but also available on Kindle). The footnotes and cross references mean I can get into the real truths of the Word at the touch of a screen This kind of enlightenment has never been available to me before in the UK . Do try it and see for yourself. .. and may you too receive a 'spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him'

Good Content The little portions of verses + explanation are really nice to pray over, the only problem I find is that the interface is not very good, the main content looks like a cheap Web browser, instead of nicer formatting. However, we read the word for its content, not its presentation :)

Profoundly Awesome I have been reading the Bible for decades. I've read various translations, going through King James, Darby, NIV, and so forth....from Genesis to Revelation, and using Strong's concordance for every word I wanted to dig deeper into. The Recovery Version is right on! From the first day I picked it up, it won my total respect and appreciation. I use it on a daily basis to draw near to my wonderful God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to get into the deeper truths that are extremely rare these days.

Thoughtful I like this version. I have compared it often with the KJV. It also often agrees with the Darby version and seems to be very similar to the ASV. A great addition to my collection.

Great for group Bible Study We used this recently to study different passages related to prayer and read some verses in Ephesians about taking up the whole armor of God. Did you know that the word of God can be a sword to fight the flaming darts of the enemy? For people who say stuff about cults with no basis, I think you should read it and see if there is anything crazy such as talk about being a 4th part of the trinity.....crazy.....there are a lot of groups out there that are using this kind of talk to discourage people from truth.

Witness Lee is a heretic Do some research people. Witness Lee and his "Local Church" movement have some pretty heretical beliefs. Lee has suggested in the past that we (the body) are the 4th member of the trinity. He believes that we become God when we believe in him. Please keep your guard up and tread carefully!

Great Bible App This is an awesome Bible App. I like that you can pick from any translation you want to read from, and have the ability to download different versions for use offline when there is no connection. The ability to bookmark verses and use highlights, and the variety of reading plans make this app a must have for any avid reader of scripture. It also contains a widget for daily verses which is really neat.

Awesome, helpful app for Bible study from Christians who are both Orthodoxy and Orthopraxy This is an awesome Bible study app! It has very good notes concerning God's economy, which is something that most Christians today neglect as mentioned by the apostle Paul 1 Timothy 1:4. These Christians are genuine, they give further light and build upon the studies and revelation given to awesome men of God, like John Nelson Darby, Moody, Andrew Murray, etc. They have also been confirmed by Hank Hanegraaff (the Bible answer man).

Cult warning Word of advice. Let the Holy Spirit help you interpret through prayer the words in the scriptures. Only use study bibles to get the history and culture during those times. Anyone outside of the prophets in the Holy Bible claiming that their interpretation is the only way to salvation is a liar. Truth is the Bible is to be taken literally with context to the times they were written. Stay away from this, or at least do some research on them before you just trust anyone.

Awesome app from genuine Christians who love the Lord Jesus Awesome app! Great topical reference for those studying the Bible. Bring your own Bible and/or order a free NT from within the app! The recovery version translation of the Bible is a literal translation. For those who say that this Bible translation is from a "cult," you guys need to do your research and not simply believe the first piece of trash you find on the net. Start with CRI's magazine article "We were wrong." Know the facts before accusing your genuine brothers and sisters in the Lord of heresy.
