The Audubon Mushrooms Guide is the most comprehensive and accurate guide to North American mushrooms and other fungi available to date. Audubon Mushrooms features a comprehensive search function, stunning photography, current taxonomic information, complete species descriptions and reference material.

• This app is optimized for Android Version 2.1+. Suggested minimum device CPU is 800 mhz. The App's 560+ MB database installs directly to the SD card with Version 2.2+. With Version 2.1 the app database must be moved manually to the SD card through Settings.
• PLEASE NOTE: This app is not yet compatible for the honeycomb tablet.

Fascinating I'm new to the world of mushrooms so I don't know if there's a lack of species, but the app itself seems to be working fantastically (downloaded the entire content via wifi)

Very cool! I'm not sure why people are complaining, this is a well organized app with beautiful photos. When I see a mushroom on my lawn or in the woods, I will snap a pix of it and try to ID it. This will be lots of fun! Can't beat the price for 99 cents either!

Bought on sale, .99¢ For .99¢ what the heck, There is no way the app will serve as a compendium, but it has common species.

Big let down disappointed customer I have to say that the bought a with high expectations.!!!! I thought this would cover all types of mushrooms, from edible to poisonous to the illegal type of mushrooms I was doing a college paper on this and saw a supposedly $5.00, app that covers less then wiki links and as for that would make a great portion of my grade and here it covers let's walk thru the forest and I will identify the ones you have can eat right on the spot!!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

not many alternatives Unstable and slow. The DB is huge but u'll still need wifi to download pictures. No easy "add to favorites" option. Overall I like and use it a lot!

I love it, it's my favourite app. Easy to navigate, well written, informative, advanced search is awesome, life lists are fantastic - making it easy to organize your 'shrooming by area/time/rarities/etc. However, it's not perfect. Please update with the following requests: 1. Ability to save advanced searches so you don't have to re-do them 2. Please permit editing of life lists in your next update
