[2012-09-04] Seo: Limited Crashes first start on Asus transformer, every time. Has a selection of families but very limited in species. I would love to see a taxonomic key to families in an app, but this is not nearly that use full. I can't zoom on the tiny thumbnails while scrolling through the families, which makes the app much less user friendly and very tedious. Plus side; I can load everything and access the information in the field,in the park, or wherever the bugs are |

[2012-08-16] Jeremiah: was good, please make compatible with jellybean topic. I liked this app when I initially bought it, but the lack of updates has left me with something I can't use on my new tablet. |

[2012-07-16] Marbul: worthless app I didn't expect much form a 99 cent app and it delivered. The app has crashed every time I've tried to download the content (160mb). Combine its limited selection of species and poor menu design and it makes it useless to me. I'll look elsewhere. |

[2012-07-15] dale: Not bad My reaction to the Audobon apps I've used is pretty much the same - they're ok but they could be better. The strength of this app is the general background material. The photos are good quality but there is only one photo for all of the species I've looked at. It would also be nice if there was sound for those species where that is relevant. This app is a reasonably good value for the $0.99 I paid, but not for the stated full price of $4.99. |

[2012-07-01] LynneThoiry: Cannot open application on my Galaxy Tab 7.7 I took advantage of special. July 4 offer and bought several Audubon apps (Birds, Trees, Insects, Butterflies) but none of them will open on my galaxy tab. It just shows a.Message stating "application not licensed - this application is not licensed. Please purchase it from android markets." Clearly I did purchase it from Google play. I will be happy to change this rating if Green Mountain will either fix the problem or refund my money. Would prefer to have problem fixed. |

[2012-06-12] Audrey: So-So Like the wildflower guide, this one works great on my DROIDX. However, I am disappointed in the lack of insects/arachnids. Audubon guides are supposed to be comprehensive and this one needs work. |

[2012-06-10] Patterson: A massive Bugged Program Refuses to load, Force Closes, And I missed my Fifteen Minute window to toss this piece of junk. The good news is after the seventh reload attempt the program actually opened. Pretty but not worth the forced closes. |
|
[2012-06-05] Kevin: Mis-identification The first insect I looked at was mis-identified. Also the guide does not give family names. This app has great potential and I am very excited to see what it could be...hopefully. Let's just hope the developers and Audubon put the effort in. |
|
[2012-06-01] ajb: Problems with Green Mountain Digital apps 1. Databases go to SD (not external SD) 2. Non-standard menu system (exiting the app requires going to an "other" menu option and scrolling all the way down to find the Exit option. |
|
[2012-05-26] Ken: Limited This app is very limited in it's scope, although it is well implemented. Even the relatively few species represented here have few pictures. If the species database is expanded significantly, this app might be worth the money. As it stands now I wouldn't recommend paying for this app. I will change my rating if the database is expanded. |

[2012-05-26] Nature: It must be Vermont I guess we'll just say Vermont is not the Mecca of Android developers. I hope another company publishes stable, useable, content rich field guides... |

[2012-05-26] Judy: Bugs me For those who have a hard time seeing? Expect a hard time. |
|
[2012-05-17] Nick: Exactly what it says on the tin Not bad. Needs more information though. |
|
[2012-05-14] Ed the Dev: Worthless This guide can identify exactly 34 spiders. The books are impressively thorough. This app is shockingly sparse, and basically worthless. |
|
[2011-11-06] m0unds: it's a good start not a bad guide, but could really use more species. missing quite a few common arachnids of the sw USA. other than that, pretty awesome. |
