An application of the estimation of the alcohol level in the blood. Uses the ancient formula of estimation, with only weight, dose and time taken into account. Specifics of metabolism processes are neglected.

Please, consider, that this application provides you only with the estimation, but not with the precise value.

Starting from version 1.3, multi-drink mode is not a part of this application anymore. It is too complicated, and misleads the majority of users. Please, let me know if you want that multi-drink mode, and I will publish another application, named "Overcomplicated BAC calculator"

Note:  At this time rebooting your device will cancel all alarms.  Your settings are saved so you will have to start it again.

HTC EVO 4G:  There is a known issue with messaging and Vibrate with this device.  The following is a fix from www.mydigitallife.info

Method 1: Disable Vibration and Enable Vibration Again

In Messaging, hit Menu button to go into Settings. Then uncheck (untick) the check box of Vibrate under “Notification settings”, and then recheck (retick) the Vibrate check box. Reboot the phone.

Method 2: Set Vibrate via Sound Manager

If the method above does not work, try the following workaround instead:

Launch Android Market
, and download and install Sound Manager. After installing, open the Sound Manager app, hit Menu button, and then go to Vibrate Settings. Under Notifications, check (tick) the Vibrate whenever possible check box.

Once the setting is set, the Sound Manager app can be uninstalled without affecting the vibration functionality.

This application allows you to calculate the amount of alcohol in the blood, given the amount of alcohol drunk, the strength of the drink, body weight, the time elapsed. Calculations are performed by a recognized worldwide Widmark formula.
The results of calculations can not serve as evidence in court, be grounds for legal and other claims used as any evidence, as well as to challenge the results of laboratory determination of ethanol concentrations in blood and urine.
The creators and developers of the program does not accept any responsibility for the results of calculations and their implications. Do not drink while driving!
